2011 commenced with a major service
and maintenance regime after a very busy 2010.
February included shows with Heather Small and Sisters of Mercy.
February and March saw sold out tours with Levellers and Lighthouse Family.
April and the Editors and Klaxons commenced their European touring schedule.
The long summer saw us once again
providing audio for all the open air Forestry Tour festival performances.
23 days of shows up and down the country in amazing Forestry settings
featuring great acts - Simple Minds, Erasure, Bryan Ferry, Westlife,
Scouting for Girls, The Script, Courteeners and Texas amongst
others.
Racecourse Festival shows completed the summer together with several open air festival performances with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Recent and current rentals to Coldplay, Steps, Heaven 17, Heather Small, Thomas Dolby and the comedy sensation Lee Nelson are continuing to keep us busy.
2010 Highlights
January commitments included a dV.DOSC system for the record breaking run of Billy Connolly shows at the London Hammersmith Apollo.
FOH & Monitor control equipment
for 'Editors' USA tour in February and then a full system for
their March UK theatre tour.
Editors continued to rent FOH & Monitor control for their
festival touring until the Autumn.
February also saw a full dV.DOSC touring system for shows on the
'Noisettes' UK theatre tour.
The Katherine Jenkins UK 'Believe' tour also commenced rehearsals
in February with UK Arena shows running from 2nd to 20th March
all benefitting from L.Acoustics V.DOSC.
Klaxons benefited from use of the latest Digidesign SC48 'compact'
consoles for all of their Spring, Summer and Autumn festivals
and show dates.
We provided consoles for the Coldplay world tour, we are proud
to continue our association with this great band.
We had a particularly hectic summer festival season with over
30 shows to service on behalf of the Forestry Commission and various
other major promoters, artists included Simply Red, Keane, JLS,
James Morrison amongst many others.
Autumn and Winter commitments included tours by Katherine Jenkins, Alesha Dixon, Heaven 17, Levellers amongst others.
New purchases included more Digital
consoles, including Digidesign Venue and Profile surfaces, together
with the Digidesign Mix-Rack and SC48 consoles,
we also added further Yamaha PM5DRH, M7CL and LS9 consoles to
our stock.
We also invested heavily in high end quality outboard equipment,
particularly Focusrite 430 Mk2 producer packs, Avalon VT737's,
Midas XL42's and
Klark Teknik rack mount pre-amps (for all those 'digital' engineers
who love analogue front end).

Regarding Billy Connolly, we continue
to think of our buddy Mal Kingsnorth who recently passed away.
He was great friend and colleague of ours and will be sadly missed.
A well known and respected Sound Engineer and Tour Manager who
had a long and distinguished career with Billy Connolly not to
mention Status Quo, Shania Twain, Bjorn Again and many more. Everyone
who knew him is lessened by his passing. Mal - it was a privilege to know you.
