Having the best equipment and systems peripherals is only part
of the sound rental company equation.
Quality crews are essential, and a large proportion of our current
success, without doubt, is due to them.

After an extremely busy 2009, we have kicked off 2010 with our
usual major maintenance and upgrading regime.
January has seen the installation
of a substantial dV.DOSC system for the record breaking run of
Billy Connolly shows at the London Hammersmith Apollo.
A series of sold out performances by arguably the UK's premier
comedian running from 4th to 31st January.
We are supplying FOH & Monitor
control equipment for 'Editors' USA tour in February.
We continue to supply some of the control requirements at the
culmination of the Coldplay world tour in South America and are
proud to continue our association with this great band.
February also see's a full dV.DOSC
touring system for shows on the 'Noisettes' UK theatre tour.
The Katherine Jenkins UK tour also commences rehearsals in February
with UK Arena shows running from 2nd to 20th March all benefitting
from L.Acoustics V.DOSC.
'Editors' undertake their UK theatre venue tour from 3rd to 31st
March for which we are supplying Yamaha & Digidesign consoles
and dV.DOSC PA system.
We have a particularly hectic summer festival season coming up
with over 30 shows to service on behalf of the Forestry Commission
and various other major promoters.
Recent new purchases include more
Digital consoles, including Digidesign Venue and Profile surfaces,
together with the new Digidesign Mix-Rack systems,
also Yamaha M7CL and LS9 consoles.
We have also invested heavily in high end quality outboard equipment,
particularly Focusrite 430 Mk2 producer packs, Avalon VT737's,
Midas XL42's and
Klark Teknik rack mount pre-amps (for all those 'digital' engineers
who can't live without analogue front end).

Regarding Billy Connolly, we continue
to think of our buddy Mal Kingsnorth who recently passed away.
He was great friend and colleague of ours and will be sadly missed.
A well known and respected Sound Engineer and Tour Manager who
had a long and distinguished career with Billy Connolly not to
mention Status Quo, Shania Twain, Bjorn Again and many more. Everyone
who knew him is lessened by his passing. Mal - it was a privilege to know you.
